Gurkhas Brasserie was one of the first Nepalese restaurants in Melbourne when it opened in 1995 in Chapel Street, offering authentic tastes of Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. Over the time, it has gained appreciation and Gurkhas is now one of the most famous Nepalese restaurants in Melbourne.

To get to the city your can take the train (Upfield line - 15 minutes) or several trams taking 20 minutes (Tram 19 via Sydney Road/City, Tram 8 via Moreland Road/Lygon St/City/South Yarra, and Tram 1 via Moreland Road/Lygon St/City/South Melbourne).
